Thursday, February 12

It was a busy first day in Dnepropetrovsk! This morning we worked in age-group teams sharing programming.

With a theme of "Go Green", Havayah's programs will focus on preserving the environment, recycling, and how this is accomplished - in different ways - in each of the 3 countries.

This afternoon, the teens met the children, briefly, in the classrooms where they will work for the rest of the week.

Later in the day, the teens went ice skating at the MOST Shopping Center!

Tonight the group had a discussion about Jewish Identity. It's always a great opportunity at these discussions to learn from peers and see the similarities and differences in growing up as Jewish teenagers in different parts of the globe.
